Beautiful accommodations are available and located within an enchanting old world setting. During the growing season, one can become enamored with the paddy (rice) swaying in the afternoon wind as the farmers care for individual plots of land.
For a week or so after the harvest, kerbau (Javanese buffalo) help the farmers plow the fields utilizing traditional methods. Spectacular views of the mountains and sapphire-colored and extremely warm Indian Ocean are just an open door or curtain away.
